Biography
Aisling is a singer, songwriter, producer and sound engineer based in Dublin, Ireland. She has played music all her life and has been writing songs since she was a teenager. In September 2014 she released her debut album "A Handful of Bad Ideas".
Aisling comes from a prolific musical family/her mother being Moya Brennan of Irish group Clannad, and has been touring worldwide with Clannad and Moya Brennan since 2010.
Since releasing her debut album she has been an active member of the Irish music scene, as well as finding some success internationally, collaborating with Dance/Electronic/Trance producers such as Roger Shah, Aly & Fila, Phillippe El Sisi and Ahmed Romel, to name a few.
Aisling has performed solo sets at Glastonbury Festival, New York City, Germany, as well as supporting Clannad on a UK tour. She has also performed at many venues throughout Ireland.
She graduated from Pulse College, Dublin with a Diploma in Sound Engineering and Music Production in 2012, and has worked professionally as the primary sound engineer at Mo & Co Studios ever since, working with artists of all genres. She has been Moya Brennan's studio engineer and co-producer ever since graduating, and has worked with artists such as Brian Kennedy, Mundy, Eve Belle, Hvmmingbyrd, John Doyle and Ashley Davis, and has worked alongside world renowned engineers like John Reynolds, Kieran Lynch (Smalltone Productions), and Lynne Earls (Vice President of the LA Chapter of the Recording Academy, and owner of EMP Studios in LA).
Aisling also co-wrote/recorded/produced the musical score for an ABC Australian kids animation, Prisoner Zero, with Moya in 2015 and 2016.
In recent years, Aisling has joined forces with her brother, Paul Jarvis, as pop duo BANYAH, and they hope to have an EP ready for release in 2021.
She is currently working on new solo material as well, looking towards experimenting and working on album number two over 2021, as well as releasing other bits and pieces, and being involved in numerous other projects over the next few months.
In July 2021, Aisling released her first single under the new electronic music pseudonym 'Presh'. This debut track, 'Fly With Me', is a collaboration with Rosie Timmon, and Aisling hopes that the entire 'Presh' project will see some exciting collaborations with other artists.
